The competition took place on february 20, 2017 in the foyer of the new stage of the National theater, which participated in the competition. Charles III Schwarzenberg was chosen for the competition because he was an important patron and also one of the initiators of the idea of establishing the National theatre. The winning portrait will subsequently be exhibited here.
