Studio SW was founded by sculptor Sebastian Wojnar in the historic premises of Fabrika 1861 in Semily. Sebastian's figurative work is characterized by respect for nature and its subsequent application to his own practice – he perceives the human body as a landscape, where hands are branches and legs are roots firmly connected to the earth. He strives to find balance between solid sculptural foundations and inner feelings, supported by craftsmanship and knowledge of technologies. He works with fragmentation of form, symbolic language and respect for sculptural craftsmanship.
