The exhibition of figurative sculptor Sebastian Wojnar presents a significant part of his work from the last two years. Also on display will be older works tracing the development, thinking and worldview of the young artist from his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts to the present day.

The main theme of the whole exhibition is “faith”. Faith is the connecting bridge between the other two themes, which are everyday life and family. The central element of the whole exhibition will be the larger-than-life bronze TORSO OF VICTORIOUS CHRIST.”

The set of portraits “HOSPITAL BOY” from 2022 and 2023 is a groundbreaking work in Sebastian Wojnar’s oeuvre and is an absolutely significant work on the theme of everyday life.

A major theme is the family, which captures the artist’s personal confessions. Portraits of children, sexuality in a relationship, but perhaps even a family baking a cake.

The strong theme of “HOLOCAUST” is also connected to the family of the author of the exhibition, which Sebastian Wojnar has been working on the realization of the sculpture. He will also present this work for the first time at this exhibition.

The exhibition will offer works in plaster or bronze as busts, torsos, but also an open set of sketches “HANDS”, or the already mentioned figures and portraits “HOLOCAUST”. The exhibition will be complemented by artistic photographs of the artist’s works.
